Ordinary Chondrite L6 



History: This meteorite was discovered by an anonymous finder on a limestone plateau in the Dhofar region of Oman.
Physical characteristics: A single stone of 2270 grams was found. Fusion crust is almost abcent.
Geochemistry and Petrography: Olivine Fa 23.1; orthopyroxene Fs 20.2, Wo 2.8; Ca-pyroxene Fs 8.2, Wo 43.3.
Classification: The meteorite is an ordinary chondrite L6, shock S6, weathering grade W4.
Specimens: sample and one thin section are on deposit at Vernadsky Institute.
