Chondrite L3.2/3.3 



History: This meteorite was discovered by an anonymous finder on a limestone plateau in the Dhofar region of Oman.
Physical characteristics: 3 dark brown stones of 2200 grams in total weight. Fusion crust is almost full present.
Geochemistry and Petrography: (M. Ivanova, M. Nazarov, and S. Afanasiev, Vernad., EMP): S3; W2;
Fayalite (mol%): 18.7 (1.3-50); Ferrosilite (mol%): 13.4 (2.1-27.6); PMD > 42; Highly unequilibrated: subtype < 3.3
Classification: The meteorite is a chondrite L3.2/3.3.
Specimens: sample and one thin section are on deposit at Vernadsky Institute.
An anonymous collector holds the main mass.
